Reported By Leo Lauchere

Ava the Wood dog

Autumn sets in around us here at Ecocamp Coyote.
Here's some of what we've been up to:

Gardens

Much progress has been made installing gopher wire, adding mushroom compost, and covering the beds in the second growing area

Battery Maintenance
The Lead-acid batteries which currently power the off grid solar system need ongoing additions of distilled water.

We use the Solar power to distill water for use in engines as coolant and for the batteries

Out with the old
We have been working on cleaning up around here.
Especially vehicles which do not fit into our post-petroleum aspirations
SOLD!
The old dump truck served us well to pick up compost.
Now it is on its way to Guatemala!
The Crown Vic (above, center) was cousin Jake's ride to California.
It has since been SOLD

Sold the gasoline motorbike

And gave the EV Saturn caracas away
after having pulled the components out (See September Blog)

Watermelon Madness!

We found some watermelon seedlings in a dumpster and plated them. They were very happy and productive!

The Sun Sets over the wood yard..
